Job Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking a very strong and proactive Senior Finance Manager to join our Global Value-in-Kind (VIK) FP&A team. This role is responsible for collaborating across Finance global and regional teams, Value added services business leaders and sales support functions.
The Senior Finance Manager will serve in a finance leadership and partnership capacity for Global VIK and Advisory Services Performance Management. As a finance business partner, the candidate will cultivate strategic operational partnerships to support the financial thought leadership and assist with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
The Global VIK FP&A team serves as a strategic business partner for global business leaders and provides strategic finance leadership that supports Revenue growth and diversification in Value Added Service and Other Visa growth pillars. We are an agile, highly visible team that collaborates with senior leaders across several groups and lead financial planning, management reporting, and decision support analytics to business leaders.
Essential Functions:
- Lead preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans and analyses
- Interpret and present key findings to senior leadership and executive management audience
- Establish efficient processes for monthly and quarterly performance reporting for optimal results
- Partner with business functions and regional VIK leaders to evaluate the financial impact of VIK Utilization and develop long-term financial plans
- Develop and present strategic insights about the VIK program and its effectiveness in driving revenue growth in Value added services and other growth pillars
- Lead performance diagnostics, budgeting, forecasting, multi-year strategic outlook and management reporting
- Provide decision support to senior finance leadership on VIK operating levers and provide ongoing support for the transformation of strategic organizational priorities
- Provide thought leadership and guidance on core process improvements, building efficiencies and streamlining deliverables
- Spearhead ongoing projects to further improve the overall performance of the team and global/ regionals VIK organization
- Influence, motivate and collaborate with key global business partners and stakeholders across regions and functions
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of relevant work experience with a PhD degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A with a strong understanding of financial management
- Superior analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, ability to communicate effectively with executive management
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling (Microsoft Excel) and building presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint) are required
- Highly detail oriented with the ability to convert complex analysis into insightful business commentary
- Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively with management to influence outcomes
- Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a peer with business leaders in global and regional function
- Ability to make decisions with limited guidance, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management, while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization
- Strong foundation in Finance and working knowledge of GAAP and/or Visa Accounting Policy preferred
- Ability to improve processes, systems, and plans that balance short-term and long-term growth
- Strategic and analytical thinker with capability to work through complex problems, processes, and data sets
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting, business performance analytics, and working with multi-functional teams
- Experience with complex financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, TM1) is beneficial but not required
- High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with multiple global and regional stakeholders
- Able to work in a dual reporting matrix environment
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 142,200 to 206,350 per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
